Adam Schroeder is a United States Marine Corps Combat Veteran serving from 2002-2006 with two deployments to Iraq.
After leaving the Marine Corps, he turned his focus to helping others. Graduating from Texas Women's University with his Bachelors in the Science of Nursing, he started working as an Emergency Room Nurse. After the pandemic faded, he changed gears and is now serving in an outpatient setting helping our Veteran population.
During his nursing career, Adam found a passion for endurance sports and set his sights on the Ironman Triathlon. He has now completed several Ironman events and multiple Ultra marathons.
This has led him to a strong desire for nutrition and longevity. As a U.S. Marine, jerky was always a hot commodity. Its high nutritional value and stable shelf life made it the perfect snack during deployments. As a Registered Nurse, he saw first hand the effects of how chronic disease was created by a market full of ultra processed foods. As an athlete, nutrition and health became paramount for success.
Finding organic grass fed grass finished jerky was difficult, and finding it at a reasonable price...almost impossible. This led him to the question, "Why not just make my own?"
Adam wanted organic grass fed beef with simple organic ingredients, and wanted to deliver it at a price that would work for any budget. Delivering high quality jerky at a reasonable price has become the motto here at Freedom Fuel Jerky.
